CONTRACTORS building a section of Edinburgh Academy have visited pupils to teach them about health and safety.
The Dunne Group, the main contractor behind the £2 million redevelopment of the nursery and after-school facility, warned the youngsters about the dangers of playing on a construction site.

The Bathgate-based business targeted seven to 11-year-olds as part of the project.

Health and safety manager Robert Morrison said: "Children need to have the risks explained to them in a fun and enjoyable way they can properly relate to."
