Rock school makes a big noise
A SCHOOL of rock is being held in the Capital for budding musicians.
Teenagers are being given the chance to learn from talented musicians as part of the week-long rock school at Napier University.
Four well-known professionals, who have toured and performed worldwide with stars including Hue and Cry, Deacon Blue and OMD, will be giving the 14 to 18-year-olds lessons in guitar, bass, drums, singing and composition.
Taj Wyzgowski, Nico Bruce and Mike Field are among those teaching the students.
Graham Weir, senior music lecturer and former member of OMD, said: "It's a real chance for the teenagers to be loud without bothering their parents."
