Later learning 'preferred to schooldays'

A CITY education centre has welcomed a new survey showing 78 per cent of adults prefer learning later in life to their schooldays.
The survey, carried out by IT and office skills training specialists Pitman Training, also discovered that 47 per cent wish they had tried harder at school.
"One of the most exciting things about learning as an adult is the self confidence that it can help you gain," says Fran Maclean, managing director of Pitman Training in Edinburgh.
