EDINBURGH are facing back-to-back fixtures with Glasgow in the Magner's Celtic League next season after fixtures were announced today.
Coach Andy Robinson's side are expected to welcome their Scottish rivals to Murrayfield on Boxing Day with the return at Firhill a week later on January 2.

All fixtures are provisional in the sense that matches may be moved away from the Friday ni
ght to either Saturday or Sunday depending on television requirements.

Edinburgh head coach Andy Robinson said: "In our warm-up matches we will be facing the English champions (Wasps) and the European Challenge Cup champions (Bath).

"Then our opening two competitive matches will be against the European champions and the Magners League champions (Leinster), so we fully understand the task ahead.

"We have been handed a tough start, but it will give the players an early opportunity to measure how far we have progressed over the course of the summer programme.

"Munster have got some fine players and a proud tradition, so we will be looking forward to kicking off our Magners League campaign in front of a big and vocal crowd at Murrayfield."
