Andy MURRAY’S grass-court preparation for Wimbledon next week will consist of no more than two exhibition matches after his shock elimination from the AEGON Championships.

Murray was tipped for the final of the tournament at Queen’s but was outgunned by unseeded Frenchman Nicolas Mahut 3-6, 7-6 (7/4), 6-7 (1/7) yesterday. Murray will not play the doubles at Queen’s and claims he is unlikely to play in the AEGON International at Eastbourne.
