Sick Kids given £17k tonic
FUNDRAISING staff have raised £17,000 for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
Livingston-based Johnson & Johnson Medical has selected SKFF as its nominated charity of the year.
A total of 350 employees from the operational division of the business dedicated their time and hard work to organise and drive forward a creative fundraising campaign.
Initiatives included a teddy toddle, battle of the sexes cycle, bake sale and golf tournament, which all contributed to the final total.
Carolyn Jenkins, from Johnson & Johnson Medical, said: “We were absolutely delighted by the amount of money that was raised.”
Will Guest, corporate fundraiser for the SKFF, added: “Johnson & Johnson has worked tirelessly to raise essential funds for us.”
