Rugby: Blair in Accies’ festive match

Edinburgh ACCIES will face the Co-optimists tomorrow in the traditional festive encounter at Raeburn Place (kick-off 1.30pm).

Accies will field a team mainly based on the younger players who have played for, or benched for, the firsts over the season, plus a couple of the older heads in need of game time before the Premiership clash with Heriot’s on January 5.

The Accies line-up includes former Edinburgh stand-off Alex Blair who continues to work his way back to match fitness after a lengthy injury absence.
