Polish man in rape arrest
A POLISH national has been remanded in custody on a rape charge following an international police operation.
Rafael Bogusz was detained at his home in Poland after a European Arrest Warrant was issued by the Crown Office in Edinburgh.
He was returned to Scotland on Thursday following his extradition.
Bogusz, whose address was given as Poland, appeared on petition at Livingston Sheriff Court.
He was accused of raping a woman in West Lothian in June 2010. He made no plea.
