Police issue appeal over missing man
Police are appealing for information to help trace the whereabouts of a man who has been reported missing.
Iain Ovens, a 35-year-old from Polbeth in West Lothian, was last seen leaving a friend’s house in Mooreland Gardens, Addiewell, at about 6.30pm yesterday.
Mr Ovens is described as white, 5ft 8in, medium build, short dark brown hair, with a full beard. He is thought to be wearing a black top, black jeans and white trainers.
Inspector Liz Macleod said: “We are concerned for Mr Ovens’s safety, as he has not been in contact with his family, which is out of character for him. If anyone has seen Iain Ovens, or may know where he is, I would urge you to contact the police.
“His family are very worried about him”.
Anyone with information should contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131-311 3131, or Crimestoppers in anonymity on 0800 555 111.
