London calls the Asps
CAPITAL rock group the Asps are leading the field in a prestigious battle of the bands competition which offers the chance to perform at Hyde Park in London.
The band has attracted around 150 downloads and is leading the pack, which means it could be on course to win the Hard Rock Cafe competition.
First, the Asps will have to do battle live at the Edinburgh Hard Rock Cafe on George Street, where the winner of that section will move on to vie with another 85 bands from around the world for the chance to play in London.
