Vittoria has been named best restaurant in an awards ceremony.

The Brunswick Street eatery saw off competition from more than 7000 restaurants listed on Qype at the consumer review website’s business awards.

Other Edinburgh finalists included Zuba Hair & Beauty, bistro A Room In Leith, attraction Camera Obscura and World of Illusions and deli Valvona & Crolla.
