Usher Hall to host young talent

YOUNG musicians are being given the chance to display their talent in front of audiences at the Usher Hall.

Seven concerts will be held as part of the Emerging Artists series between September 4 and January next year.

Councillor Richard Lewis, culture and leisure convener at the city council, said: “It will be an occasion for the musicians to remember – after all, they will be using the same stage as artists such as Adele and Nicola Benedetti.”

Adult tickets for the event cost £3, but children and
students go free.
