Updated wind farm plans to go on tour

Members of the public in Midlothian are being invited to attend one of a series of public exhibitions providing updated information about a proposed wind farm at Mount Lothian, south-east of Howgate.

The proposal is being  prepared by renewable energy company Wind Prospect and would have an installed capacity of up to 24 megawatts (MW).

Taking place in early December, the events follow earlier public exhibitions hosted locally in July and September this year. They will be held at Howgate Village Hall on December 4; Temple Village Hall on December 5; the Penicuik Centre on December 6 and the Barony Castle Hotel the  following day
