Touch of bling for our top-deck athletes

EDINBURGH’s golden chariot will carry more than a dozen Olympians above the crowds tomorrow afternoon.

Dubbed the “bling” bus, the open-top Lothian Buses double decker, will see Sir Chris Hoy stand alongside the expected attendance of canoeist David Florence, rower Katherine Grainger, runner Lynsey Sharp, boxer Josh Taylor, judo trio Euan Burton, Chris Sherrington, Sally Conway and Sarah Clark. Also on the bus will be Jim “The Swim” Anderson, fellow paralympic swimmer James Clegg, sprinter Libby Clegg, archer Murray Elliot, swimmer Sean Fraser, footballer Blair Glynn and judoka Sam Ingram.
