Summer fete for veterans

Veterans’ charity Erskine is to hold its annual summer fete at its Edinburgh home.

The facility, which cares for 76 veterans in Gilmerton, will host the event on Saturday, July 28 from 2-4pm.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a range of stalls including tombola, outside trading stalls, home baking, plants and books.

There will also be a barbecue, children’s games and competitions and live entertainment.
