Steep ask for hill runners

RUNNERS are being invited to sign up for a gruelling hill race that will test athletes’ stamina on a 200ft incline.

The North Berwick Law Race begins from the harbour and takes competitors on a three-mile circular route through the lodge grounds before they have to tackle the steep climb of the Law.

The first person to complete the course will receive the Law Trophy, with the Milk Board Trophy awarded to the first female finisher.

Registration begins at 6pm on the day of the race at the RNLI Boathouse. The starter’s gun will fire at 7.30pm tomorrow.
