Sound idea is barking up the old tree

SCULPTOR Robin Wood unveils his new interactive art installation at Hillside Crescent Gardens.

It features a tree blown down in a gale and oral histories of the area from those who live and work locally, young and old.

The Edinburgh-based artist specialises in site-specific works related to their immediate environment. The wood used in this sculpture is carved from the recycled remnants of a tree from nearby London Road Gardens.
