Santa’s dive is a fin effort

A FEARLESS Father Christmas has taken on an underwater charity challenge by diving with a three-metre-long shark.

The sub-aquatic Santa took the plunge at Deep Sea World as part of a series of daredevil challenges to raise money for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).

As well as diving with sharks, the jolly gift-giver also tested his driving skills around the Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Deep Sea World’s Aisling Thornton said: “When he asked if he could dive with our sharks we were only too pleased to help out.

“He enjoyed some incredibly close encounters with our sand tiger sharks and seemed to thoroughly enjoy his time underwater. CHAS is an amazing charity and this is a fantastic way to raise much needed funds for such a worthwhile cause.”
