Rudi Skacel billboard removed from Easter Road after vandalism

A GIGANTIC advertising billboard featuring an image of former Hearts star Rudi Skacel has been removed from outside Easter Road.

The Sky billboard had been aimed at highlighting the broadcaster’s coverage of the Scottish Cup.

Instead, it was given a coat of whitewash yesterday after Hibs fans voiced their outrage at the use of an image of Skacel scoring in Hearts’ Scottish Cup final rout of their bitter rivals earlier this year.

With the Edinburgh derby being played at Easter Road tomorrow, it was not expected the poster would survive long. Just hours after being vandalised it was removed completely, with no word on whether it would be replaced by Sky.
