Pupils warm to swap shop

A CITY primary school has helped to raise more than £900 for children’s charity Aberlour Child Care Trust by taking part in ScottishPower’s annual Swap Shop.

The initiative aims to encourage reading and raise money for charity, with Bruntsfield Primary School now in with a chance to win a visit from a leading children’s author taking part in the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

ScottishPower encouraged schools to host their own Swap Shop where pupils exchange books at 50 pence per swap.
