Pop in to pop-up bar

OWNERS of a new bar in the Capital are planning to set up a “pop-up” version in time for this year’s festivals.

The team behind the Hanging Bat on Lothian Road said they would open a temporary operation selling craft beer and cider in the premises where they will open their bar later this year.

Owner Chris Mair said the bar would be open throughout August and would showcase the best of Scotland’s independent beer producers.
