Police seeking man after ‘serious attack’ near Edinburgh nightspot as CCTV images released

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection to a serious assault in Edinburgh. The attack happened in Market Street, around 2am on Saturday, 8 July.

A 24-year-old man, who was walking towards Waverly Bridge when he was punched in the head, suffered a head injury and a dislocated shoulder.
The images show the man in the City nightclub prior to the attack.
He is described as white, in his mid 20s, stocky, about 5ft 7ins, with a shaved head, and was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.
