Police seek public views

RESIDENTS in East Lothian are invited to meet with police officers to “share and shape” the way their community is policed – from road safety to antisocial behaviour.

The next meeting is being held today at Loch Centre, Tranent, from 6pm.

Sergeant Gordon Simpson said: “This is a fresh way to generate community engagement, and most community and police partnerships meetings are well represented and innovative meetings.

“We are always keen to improve membership and open to fresh ideas, even it is for a short-term issue. ”
