Police hunt missing woman

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a missing woman from Aberdeenshire whom officers believe may be in Edinburgh.

Dorothy Jam, 44, who is from the Balmedie area, was last seen there on Monday afternoon. Officers from Grampian Police are keen for her to get in touch to establish she is safe and well.

Sergeant Stuart Murray said: “I would urge Dorothy or anyone who may have seen her since Monday afternoon, or who have information about her whereabouts, to get in touch with us. We just want to make sure she is safe and well and not in need of any assistance.”
