Plea to help producer

A CAMPAIGN has been launched to help save an 
Edinburgh-based theatre producer from deportation.

Flavia D’Avila faces being sent back to her home country of Brazil unless she can prove she has “exceptional talent”.

The campaigners said they would bring attention to Ms D’Avila’s case through petitions, letters, blogs and encouraging as many people as possible to see her Fringe show.

Ms D’Avila said: “I’m terrified. Going back now would mean starting all over again, rather than picking up and continuing to build on something that already exists.”
