Payback order and electronic tag for pervert

A PERVERT who stalked young women in order to stroke their thighs has been placed on the sex offenders register for two years.

Ian Bryson, 47, was also electronically tagged after earlier being found guilty of two offences.

Bryson had denied committing two breaches of the peace.

He was convicted of sitting beside Naomi Stirling in Livingston Centre, putting his hand on her leg and refusing to stop when asked to do so.He also swore at her during the incident in September 2009.

He was also convicted of approaching Lauren Watson on a bus travelling between Edinburgh and Livingston in October 2010. He sat close to the 18-year-old and repeatedly placed his hand on her leg.

At Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday, he was put on a community payback order for two years.
