VETerinary nurse Jen Clarke was giving Murphy the labrador-cocker spaniel cross a high-five after he underwent a free health check.

The animal charity PDSA has launched its UK-wide PetCheck tour, which got under way in the Capital at Figgate Park in Portobello yesterday.

Today the team was at East Harrison Park in West Bryson Road, before moving on to Inverleith Park tomorrow.

On Thursday, dog owners can head along to the Meadows, with vets available at Lochend Park on Friday.

The week-long city leg of the PetCheck tour ends in Holyrood Park over the weekend.
