Park packs in historic fun

FAMILIES are set to flock to Historic Scotland’s third annual Community Fun Day and Dog Show in Holyrood Park tomorrow.

The popular day out features events such as three-legged races, an obstacle course and rock climbing, and visitors can also meet Holyrood Park rangers and members of the emergency services.

Interpretation ranger Matt McCabe said: “This is a
fantastic day out that has something for everyone.

“There’s a have-a-go agility course, and if you haven’t
tried this before, our resident dog expert will show you the ropes.

“We also have a Dogs Trust fun dog show, where there will be prizes for dog with the waggiest tail, most handsome dog, and a dog egg and spoon race.

This event takes place between 11am and 3pm.
