News winner ‘very pleased’

The final winner of the Evening News competition to win a £250 Homebase voucher can be named today.

Ann Confrey, 51, who lives in the north of Edinburgh, said she was “very pleased indeed” with her windfall, adding: “It is a lovely wee boost for the end of the month.

“I think I’ll use the money to treat the garden to a makeover – new plants and I’m even thinking about changing the layout. I’m a very enthusiastic gardener – though perhaps not the most knowledgeable one.”
