CHILDREN’S minister Aileen Campbell has launched a consultation on new laws to increase childcare entitlement and improve services for children and young people.

At North Edinburgh Childcare centre, she spent time with 20-month-old Eva McDonald, Sophie Diaz, 16 months, and  David Oguntibeju, aged  22 months.

The proposed Children and Young People Bill includes provisions to increase the amount of childcare.
