New chapter for e-books

A FREE e-audiobook service has been launched across East Lothian libraries allowing users to download their favourite reads from home 24 hours a day.

The One Click Digital service gives library members access to an online database of audio- books that they can download and listen to on MP3 players, iPods or computer.

Councillor Tim Day, cabinet member for community services, said: “This is an important development for East Lothian Libraries to modernise services. I hope this will appeal to existing members but also bring new members on board.”
