Morphine pills warning

POLICE have issued a warning after a packet of prescription painkillers containing morphine was lost near to the entrance of the Western General Hospital.

The MST Continus tablets were lost at around 2pm on Wednesday on Telford Road.

A police spokesman said: “This medication should only be taken by the person it is prescribed to, and could have significant health implications if taken by anyone else. Anyone who finds this box should hand them in to their local pharmacy or police station.”
