Man in court over attack

A MAN has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after an incident in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A 25-year-old man is still being treated at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after being attacked on Magdalene Drive in Brunstane.

Harvey Frost, 46, appeared on petition at Edinburgh Sheriff Court charged with one count of assault and one count of assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder.

He made no plea nor declaration and was remanded in custody during yesterday’s hearing.
