Man admits drunk driving

A DRINK-DRIVING student was found lying under a tree after police went to investigate why his car was parked outside a dump in the early hours of the morning.

Gregor McHarg, 21, was banned from driving on an interim basis and had sentence deferred yesterday at Perth Sheriff Court after he admitted being over the limit with two passengers in his mother’s car.

McHarg, of Portland Street, Leith, admitted the offence, which took place on March 7.
