Make waves as volunteer

a CONSERVATION charity is recruiting Sea Champions to promote the protection of the sea.

The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) volunteers will help on beach cleans and take part in marine wildlife surveys.

Sea Champion volunteer co-ordinator for Scotland, Matt Barnes, who lives in South Queensferry, said: “MCS is delighted to be able to launch this amazing new initiative in time for the summer and we know there are lots of people in Scotland who want to help us achieve our goal of protecting our seas, shores and wildlife.”

The scheme was launched with a beach clean at South Queensferry.
