Lothian Buses bury time capsule at Longstone Depot

Lothian Buses has buried a time capsule at its Longstone Depot as part of the ongoing redevelopment work at the site.

The time capsule was buried by three of the company’s youngest employees, Ryan More, 17, Connor Niven, 18 and Craig Jardine, 18.

All three are currently completing an Engineering Apprenticeship and have family connections with the company.

Engineering director of Lothian Buses Bill Devlin said: “We hope that in 50 years’ time when the capsule is unearthed it will reflect on a past generation who made the right decisions for the business.”
