Highlander Craig Paterson prepares to cycle over 500 miles from Edinburgh to London, to raise money for the UK's oldest tri services military charity; SSAFA Forces Help.

Highlander Craig Paterson was one of a team of 40 cyclists from The Royal Regiment of Scotland who set off on a 500-mile, five-day trip from Edinburgh to London to raise money for military charity, SSAFA Forces Help.


Craig, 22, from Inverurie, suffered a brain injury when he was shot in the head last July whilst serving in Afghanistan.
