Liberton in cycles elite

LIBERTON High School has broken ground by being the first in Edinburgh to be given the Cycle Friendly Secondary School Award.

Run by Cycling Scotland, the honour reward schools that encourage their pupils to cycle to campus.

Justice Secretary Kenny Macaskill MSP attended the presentation.

It is understood Liberton High School is only the fifth school in Scotland to earn the accolade.
