Lady Boys of Bangkok get star treatment

PERENNIAL Fringe favourites The Lady Boys of Bangkok are back in spectacular style with a brand new production of the country’s favourite cabaret party show.

See elaborate costumes, feel the heart-breaking beats, sense the mystery and live the intensity that can only be... The Lady Boys Of Bangkok’s all new production Carnival Queens.

Be enticed to join the festivities by the entourage as they parade through comedy, cabaret, capers and carnival beats all under the specially erected Sabai Pavilion.

Marvel at the perfect make-up, stunning costumes and fabulous choreography with added surprises as some of the planet’s most famous divas get the full Ladyboys’ treatment – including saucy poppets, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.

Explaining what Fringe goers can expect from the show, creative director Phillip Gandey says, “We try to create a night out in Bangkok. With all the sights and smells of Thailand under our Sabai Pavilion, it is easy to leave the everyday humdrum world behind and immerse yourself into the heart of Bangkok’s pulsating nightlife.”

And every effort is made to ensure that the show is enjoyed by all.

“We are very conscious that it is not only the personnel on stage who make an experience, but all of our front of house staff,” says Gandey.

“We make every single customer feel welcome from the moment they set foot in the Pavilion.”
