Jobs fair for Hall’s staff

A JOBS Fair has been organised to help workers from the Hall’s of Broxburn plant.

Owners Vion has said the plant will close by the end of February 2013, with some parts scheduled to shut by the end of the month. The closure will mean the loss of 1700 jobs.

A jobs fair has been organised for staff by the Scottish Government taskforce and more than 50 employers are to take part. It is hoped new jobs can be found through matching transferable skills.
