It’s all light in Gorgie/Dalry

THE streets of Gorgie and Dalry are set to light up this week when the area’s Christmas lights are turned on.

Sunday’s switch-on, outside Gorgie City Farm, will be hosted by Lord Provost Donald Wilson and will feature carols from Dalry Primary pupils.

The Lord Provost said: “I’m thoroughly looking forward to hosting Sunday’s switch-on ceremony, having attended many, many times before and in a number of different capacities – Santa included. There’s always a fantastic festive atmosphere for all the family to enjoy.”
