Hunt for dead man’s family

Police are appealing for information to help trace relatives of a man who died in the early hours of yesterday morning.

William Anderson, 60, was found dead in his home in Birnies Court, Muirhouse, around 1.30am.

There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

Mr Anderson is believed to have a sister who lives in the South Queensferry area, and her name may be Mary.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have known Mr Anderson or his family to contact us on 0131-311 3131.”
