Hume Institute set for seminar on constitutional change and economics

ECONOMIC policies and constitutional change will be the topic of a seminar staged by the David Hume Institute at The Royal Society of Edinburgh in George Street on Monday at 6pm.

The main speaker will be economic commentator Hamish McRae and there will be a panel including Paul Johnson, director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies; Owen Kelly, chief executive of Scottish Financial Enterprise; and Gavin McCrone, former Scottish Office chief economic adviser.
