Homes plan for nursery

THE site of a former nursery is set to be developed into five new homes under plans put forward by council chiefs.

Midlothian Council has given the green light to plans to create the homes and additional car parking at the site of Thornybank Nursery in Salter’s Road in Dalkeith.

The plans form part of the local authority’s social housing programme.

The nursery is adjacent to the former Woodburn Primary where planning permission was also granted to redevelop.
