CAKE testers have chomped down on some tasty morsels with a difference – the delights all contained greens.

Kera Anderson, Kacper Suliga and Robyn Anderson from Lorne Primary School all sampled the vegetable-laden cakes in a taste test organised by John Lewis chef Rochelle Paterson.

John Lewis in Edinburgh recently funded a new kitchen for the school and also sponsors the Lorne Primary School breakfast club, which aims to provide primary school children in Edinburgh with a free and healthy breakfast.

The Leith-based school was chosen by the company because of its close proximity to their Edinburgh store in the St James Shopping Centre.
