SOCIAL enterprises are being invited to enter a new awards scheme that could land them up to £50,000.

The Social Enterprise Development Awards, run by Santander banking group, have three categories – improving social inclusion, supporting employment or creating a greener environment.

Graham Silcock, regional director at Santander, said: “The awards are part of Santander’s commitment to supporting small businesses in the UK. Social enterprises play a vital role in local communities.”
