Green energy firm wins London deal

A CAPITAL-based green energy firm has won a major public sector contract in London.

Energy Management Solutions, part of Green Energy Partners group, netted the £250,000 contract to help more than 30 councils and public sector organisations in the UK capital become more energy efficient as part of the London Energy Project.

The Edinburgh company, which competed with a number of other established suppliers to win the contract, will also provide advice on performance improvement and technical management of energy and carbon.

Company director Emma Hutchinson said: “This contract demonstrates our knowledge and experience of the scheme and our commitment to providing high quality, practical and effective energy management, auditing and continuous improvement support within the low carbon sector.

“We are delighted to have won this significant contract and look forward to working with London’s councils and other public sector organisations, to help them continue to achieve their energy and carbon management goals.”
