Gadget camp hits Capital

CHILDREN will turn TV reporter and grasp the basics of Lego robotics as part of an innovative summer scheme launching in the Capital.

Youngsters will try their hand at presenting using an autocue, special effects and preview screen while their efforts are recorded on webcam and microphone.

Other courses running during the week involve building and programming Lego robots plus an animation workshop where the children can create their own world of monsters and aliens. Run by ComputerXplorers and Excel, a leading children’s holiday sports and activity camp, the course runs from August 6-10 from 9am–5pm and is open to children from 5-12 years old.
