Elderly driver in hospital after car flips

AN elderly motorist who flipped a car in rush hour traffic has been taken to hospital.

The incident occurred on Comely Bank Road at 9.41am and the road remained closed in both directions whilst emergency sevices attended.

The motorist was later taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.
