Drumming up new recruits

An outreach brass band in Craigmillar is inviting people who want to learn to play music to get in touch.

Part of the Dalkeith and Monktonhall Brass Band, the training band is open to people of all ages who want to learn to play a brass or percussion instrument and read music.

The band, based at Craigmillar Artspace and the Jack Kane Community Centre, is also open to players who already have some skills but wish to progress.
